Web Development
Designs created through process flow diagrams, wireframes, usability testing and then site or prototype built from scratch with HTML, CSS and an occasional JavaScript. While I don't use Notepad all that often, I still hand-code in Visual Studio (primarily for the color-coding of tags). Skills in HTML/XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML. It's been years but I have worked with CGI, Perl, ASP, and XSLT.
Complex System Transactions
For the web-based servicing application, I designed the following transactions: saving quotes, pending transactions, failed renewal offers, final underwriting, chaining, and MVR disputes, ordering, and reconciliation. Primarily system and power user functionality, all required understanding of the system, versioning, how data was passed and what supporting systems and communications were required.
Additionally, I led the GUI and browser testing of the new servicing system. I ensured system quality for launching the new servicing system through the user interface testing stages by outlining UI/browser test plans, reviewing issues, determining resolution of 150 defects and triaging 500 deferred defects. I focused on prioritizing the most egregious issues which allowed deployment to remain on schedule and fixed those issues that made the interface appear broken or eroded trust in the Progressive brand.
Park City Solutions Corporate Web Site
Working with the Marketing department and stakeholders from each company division, I developed the navigation first and then created the graphic design of the site so that this version of the corporate web site presented a more technical image than the previous versions.

Pacific Edge Software
While working at Pacific Edge Software in 2000, I worked with a group of graphic designers and a web strategy team to constantly enhance and update the corporate web site. Additionally, the team designed, developed and implemented a secure customer service site where customers could find product documentation, knowledge articles, and report technical problems directly to Customer Support. I was primarily in charge of building these two sites but was given opportunities to also design and build the corporate intranet site and a separate Sales Tool Kit.
The images are in this order: Corporate site, Customer Support site, corporate intranet, Sales Tool Kit.

Caren Frost Olmsted Design
Designed entire site and brand identity. Web site has a CSS based layout and utilizes a lightbox script for galleries since Caren's portfolio relies on photographic examples of her work.
Other Sites
Some of these site have rebranded and leveraged CMS since I was involved; others are no longer active.
